Berk Guldal, Chef and Owner of Hamdi Restaurant comes all the way from Istanbul, Turkey. After being a part of the national rowing team he followed his dream of becoming a Chef. During his 5 years of gastronomy and culinary arts schooling, he worked at one of the oldest Ottoman restaurants in Turkey, Hacı Abdullah Lokantası. Making his way to the United States to work at the well known Cafe Boulud under the acclaimed Chef Daniel Boulud, From there he moved to the #1 ranked restaurant in the world by San Pellegrino, Eleven Madison Park in NYC. After spending 1 1/2 years there he moved to the west coast to work at the renowned SingleThread Farm and restaurant for 2 years as Sous Chef.

Katrina Schult, Owner and GM of Hamdi restaurant comes from Lake George, NY where she spent most of her high school life playing piano, after school she pursued a career in Wedding cakes, which lead her out to California when her brother asked her to make his wedding cake for him. Soon after that she took a job at the most well known 3 Michelin star restaurant on the west coast The French Laundry in Napa California for 3 years. From there she went to be apart of the opening team of SingleThread Farm and restaurant, and captained there for 5 years.
